Directions from Shannon Airport/Limerick City

Travel time: 1hour/1.5 hours

  1. Take the M18 to Ennis from Shannon or Limerick. It is signposted for Ennis/Galway.
  2. Take Junction 12 on the M18 signposted for Ennistymon N85.
  3. Drive straight through the town of Ennistymon heading for Lisdoonvarna.
  4. Take a left turn at the crossroads after the village of Kilshanny onto R478.
  5. Follow this road for roughly 4km until you reach another crossroads. You can turn left here and head towards the Cliffs of Moher.
  6. Alternatively, you can drive straight through the cross and follow the road down to the village of Doolin.
  7. You will arrive at Fitz crossroads in Doolin Village. Take a right turn here and drive for 600 metres. Take a left turn across from McDermotts pub. There is a Wild Meadow Huts signpost here.
  8. Follow the road until the the top of the hill. There will be a signpost for Wild Meadow Huts. Take the left turn at the top of the hill. Take another left turn at the gates/walls down into the Meadow. This will also be signposted.

Directions from Dublin Airport/Galway

Travel time: 3.5 hours/1.5 hours

  1. Leave Dublin airport and follow signs for the M1. Merge onto the M1.
  2. Continue on the M1 and follow signs for M50/Southbound.
  3. At junction 7, take the N4 exit for Sligo/Westport/Galway.
  4. Take junction 11 for Galway M6 motorway.
  5. At junction 19, take the M18 to Limerick/Oranmore and continue to Kilcolgan.

Directions from Galway City

  1. Follow the N18 out of Galway.
  2. In Kilcolgan, take a right turn onto the N67 signposted for Ballyvaughan/Cliffs Of Moher.
  3. In Ballyvaughan, take a right at the T junction. Follow the coast road and signs for the Wild Atlantic Way for about 25km.
  4. You will pass Doolin church on your left. Continue down into the village until you get to McDermotts pub on your left. Take the right lane across from McDermotts. Wild Meadow Huts is signposted here.
  5. Follow the road to the top of the hill. There will be a signpost for Wild Meadow Huts. Take the left turn at the top of the hill. Take another left turn at the gates/walls down into the Meadow. This will also be signposted.
