The Owners
Anne & Conor are a husband and wife team, who purchased the meadow over 25 years ago and built their family home there. Anne & Conor have over 34 years' experience in the tourism industry in Doolin.
Their first business was a highly recommended seafood restaurant called The Lazy Lobster which they opened in 1988. It was also their first home before moving to the meadow a couple of years later.
In 2008, they converted the restaurant into a guest house called the Half Door B&B which was also very successful. It was open for 12 years and recommended in several guide books.
They sold The Half Door B&B during lockdown and became aware of the need for private accommodation space for couples. Following this, the idea of Wild Meadow Huts was developed and the vision to share their “little piece of heaven” with others bloomed.
Marketing & Reservations staff
Amy, their daughter looks after reservations and runs the marketing and social media side of things. Amy will most likely be your point of contact if you have any queries for us online.
Amy has worked in the area of social care for the last number of years but has made the change to join the family business since having her little boy Tommy in 2021.
